DISCIPLINE Lead Abatement Supervisor
COURSE DURATION 32 hours
PREREQUISITES -At least 1 year of experience as a licensed lead abatement worker (from Missouri or EPA approved state), OR -At least 2 years of experience in asbestos abatement work or as a construction manager or superintendent, OR -At least 2 years of experience as a manager for environmental hazard remediation projects
ACCREDITING BODY The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $100 for initial license, $50 for renewal every two years
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam. Exam fee included in application fee.
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $250 every two years
REFRESHER TRAINING Annual refresher training is required.
RECIPROCITY -Reciprocity with Nebraska and EPA states. -To apply for licensure under reciprocity, an individual must complete a Lead Occupation License Reciprocity Application form and submit all appropriate documentation as requested on the application -Individuals applying for a lead abatement supervisor, lead inspector or risk assessor license under reciprocity will soon be required to take Missouri's third party reciprocity exam.
