INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS -$104 every two years -$154 if expired for 90 days or less -$204 if expired for more than 90 days but less than one year
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES No third party exam
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $1030 fee every two years
REFRESHER TRAINING Re-certification occurs when the Lead Abatement Worker completes a lead abatement worker refresher training course no sooner than 180 days prior to the certification expiration date, and submits a renewal application to DSHS, along with a $104 fee.
RECIPROCITY There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source.
