PREREQUISITES | -You must be a citizen of the U.S. to apply as an individual lead renovator in Utah |
ACCREDITING BODY | Utah Department of Environmental Quality |
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS | $110 per year for Individual registration; can register for up to 5 years at a time. |
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES | 25-Question Course exam, 70% passing score |
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS | $110 annual fee for Firm License, can regsiter for 5 years at a time. |
REFRESHER TRAINING | Refresher training (4 hours) is required every five (5) years from date of cert expiration for individual certification. |
RECIPROCITY | There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source. |
