INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS | Certificates are issued to the individual by the training provider, no fee is required. |
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES | 25-Question Course exam, 70% passing rate |
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS | If they require a contractor's license, then they apply to CCB for their firm certificate, $50. If they do not require a contractor's license, they apply to OHA for their firm certificate, $250. |
REFRESHER TRAINING | Refresher training (4 hours) is required every five (5) years from date of cert expiration for individual certification. |
RECIPROCITY | There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source. |
