DISCIPLINE Lead Inspector
COURSE DURATION 24 hours
PREREQUISITES -Bachelor's degree, OR -Associate's degree and one year experience in a related field such as lead, asbestos, housing repair or inspection, and/or inspection, and or environmental hazard remediation work, OR -High school diploma or certificate of high school equivalency and two years of experience in one or more of the above mentioned related fields.
ACCREDITING BODY Kansas Department of Health and Environment
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $200 initial, $100 recertification fee
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam. $50 for each attempt.
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $500 for two years
REFRESHER TRAINING All licenses must be renewed every 2 years by successfully completing refresher training
RECIPROCITY $200 Certification by reciprocity
