DISCIPLINE Project Designer
COURSE DURATION 8 hours
PREREQUISITES -Successfully complete and receive a course completion certificate for a lead abatement supervisor training course -Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, or related profession, and 1 year experience in building construction and design or related field, OR -1 year of experience as a certified project designer, certified by Kansas, EPA, or an EPA-approved state, and at least two years of experience in building construction and design, OR -4 years experience in building construction and design or related field.
ACCREDITING BODY Kansas Department of Health and Environment
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $150 initial, $75 recertification fee
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam. $50 for each attempt.
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $500 for two years
REFRESHER TRAINING All licenses must be renewed every 2 years by successfully completing refresher training
RECIPROCITY $150 Certification by reciprocity
