DISCIPLINE Lead Abatement Supervisor
COURSE DURATION 32 hours
PREREQUISITES -All applicants must be at least 19 years old -Proof of citizenship -All applicants applying for a Supervisor or Worker license must obtain a physical examination and a physician's statement that the licensee is physically capable of working while wearing a respirator within the preceding 12 months. Once licensed, an individual must have an annual physical examination and a physician's statement, as required by 178 NAC 23-005.02D and 004.02D, Item 3, to remain current in medical requirements throughout the term of his/her license
ACCREDITING BODY Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $202 every two years
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam.
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $200 annually
REFRESHER TRAINING Annual refresher training is required.
RECIPROCITY There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source.
