PREREQUISITES | -1 year of experience as a certified lead worker, OR -2 years of experience in lead-related construction or a related field conducting health, occupational safety or environmental hazard control. |

INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS | $75 annually |
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES | Third party exam. $230 exam fee for each attempt. |
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS | $300 every 5 years |
REFRESHER TRAINING | You must complete at least 7 hours of CDPH-approved lead-related construction Continuing Education every two years, and pay the application fee annually. |
RECIPROCITY | There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source. |
