DISCIPLINE Project Designer
COURSE DURATION 8 hours
PREREQUISITES -Successful completion of an accredited training course for supervisors, AND -Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related profession, and one year of experience in building construction and design or a related field, OR -Four years experience in building construction and design or a related field
ACCREDITING BODY Washington State Department of Health
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $25
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES Third party exam
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS -$25 -Every 3 years -Meets the current minimum requirements of the department of labor and industries regarding a surety bond and insurance, OR -Has in force a business, e.g., liability, errors and omissions, insurance policy in the minimum amount of five hundred thousand dollars.
REFRESHER TRAINING -Every 3 years after the original date of issue if the individual completed a training course with a course test and hands-on assessment, OR -Every five years if the individual completed a training course with a proficiency test
RECIPROCITY Reciprocity is available if the individual holds a valid certification issued by EPA or by a state or tribal program that has been authorized by EPA according to 40 C.F.R. 745.324.
