PREREQUISITES None
ACCREDITING BODY Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $50 for two years
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES No third party exam
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $100 for 2 years
REFRESHER TRAINING Every 2 years if the individual completed an approved training course with a course test, OR; Every 5 years if the individual completed an approved training course with a proficiency test provided and that the individual has remained involved in the duties of that discipline as his/her primary means of income.
RECIPROCITY There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source.
