DISCIPLINE Lead Abatement Worker
COURSE DURATION 24 hours
PREREQUISITES -Must be at least 18 years old
ACCREDITING BODY Illinois Department of Health
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $100 annually
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES No third party exam
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS $500 annually
REFRESHER TRAINING Training course certificates are valid for 3 years from the date the applicant passed the approved lead training course examination.
RECIPROCITY There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source.

NOTES Lead Worker and Supervisor licenses expire on March 31st of each year. A $25.00 late fee is required if the application is received after March 1st
