PREREQUISITES | -Successfully complete an approved inspector course prior to the completion of an approved risk assessor course -Bachelors degree and 1 year experience in related field, OR -Certification as an industrial hygienist, professional engineer, registered architect and/or certification in a related engineering, health, or environmental field, OR -Associates degree and 2 years experience in a related field, OR -High School/GED and 3 years experience in related field |

INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS | $250 certificate fee and $50 app fee |
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES | Third party exam. $50 for each attempt. |
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS | $250 every 2 years |
REFRESHER TRAINING | All licenses must be renewed every 2 years by successfully completing refresher training |
RECIPROCITY | An applicant shall be considered for certification by the department under an equivalent certification agreement established at KRS 211.9069. |
