REFRESHER TRAINING | -Prior to the expiration date shown on the license, each licensee who desires to retain a valid license shall submit a renewal application, appropriate refresher course certification, and all applicable fees -Licensees should apply for renewal no less than ten (10) days prior to the expiration of the license to avoid a temporary lapse of license -Applicants shall submit proof of passage of an applicable state-accredited refresher course every third year from the date of the original training and certification |
RECIPROCITY | There are numerous reciprocity agreements with EPA and other states with authorized lead-based paint programs. Your state may accept training for certification programs from those training providers accredited by EPA or other state authorized programs. Because reciprocity agreements are subject to change, it is strongly recommended that you contact your state's accrediting body before taking training from an outside source. |
