PREREQUISITES None
ACCREDITING BODY Connecticut Department of Public Health
INDIVIDUAL APP REQUIREMENTS $50 annually
INDIVIDUAL EXAM FEES No third party exam
COMPANY APP REQUIREMENTS Workers must be employed by a licensed Lead Abatement Contractor ($625 annual fee) and work under the supervision of a Lead Supervisor. If you are sole proprietor, you are required to be credentialed both as a Lead Abatement Contractor and hold the Lead Supervisor discipline.
REFRESHER TRAINING Annual refresher training and application renewal is required.
RECIPROCITY Connecticut accepts licensing and training from EPA-accredited and EPA-authorized lead programs, however the individual and company must still register with the state of CT.
